John Davies Roberts lives in West Byfleet, very close to the old Brooklands race circuit and museum.
He has raced motorcycles for some 25 years and latterly Classic Sports Cars. He holds an International ‘C’ Race License and has raced throughout the UK and Europe.
His background is as a Rolls Royce Aerospace Engineer and, as a student helped in rebuilding Merlin engines for Spitfires and Hurricanes.

The MGCC Thoroughbred FIA ‘Appendix ‘K’ Championship driving a pre-1965 MGB in 2003 and coming 3rd in the overall MGCC Championship

The Jaguar Enthusiasts Club Class ‘C’ Championship in 2008 racing his 1957 Jaguar XK150

The JEC Class ‘A’ FIA Appendix ‘K’ championship in 2010 racing his Jaguar XK140
His race partners over the years have included Chris Keith-Lucas a Director of CKL Developments, Melvin Floyd a co-Director at CKL Developments, and Barry (Whizzo) Williams of Classic and Historic Car Racing fame!
