MWS Wheel and Tyre Fitting
|
Motor Wheel Service can provide a fitting and balancing service specifically suited to vintage, veteran and classic vehicles. The balancing equipment has been adapted to accommodate centre-lock wire wheels since they cannot be balanced in the conventional manner. MWS is experienced at fitting inner tubes and the more unusual tyre types that modern garages may not be used to. MWS can supply and fit beaded-edge tyres, straight-sided tyres (for two-piece rims with locking rings) and Michelin Bibendum tyres, as well as the standard radial and cross-ply types.
In addition to the entire Blockley tyre and tube range, MWS stocks various other brands of tyre. Road tubes, race tubes and rim bands are available as necessary.
The newly refurbished tyre bay provides a Uniflate nitrogen tyre inflation service which increases the length of time that tyres will remain at the correct pressure; this reduces tyre wear and improves road holding. |
